Description
(SKU 04-30133) Kit for updating the electronic board of the ACME® E645/E646/E655/E656 models. Available in two versions to replace ACME boards with different connector types for running light wiring. Allows the replacement of the original pcb with a newly designed one with these characteristics:
- PLUX22 (NEM658) socket for decoder.
- Independent management of the red running lights and the third headlight.
- Third light led and cab light led on pcb.
- Pads for decoder output AUX6 and AUX7.
- Wiring for the connection of the two main boards with connectors for a seamless connection.
- PowerPack (energy storage device) integrated on the pcb.
- Speaker with specific sound box directly on the main board (optional).

Mainboard A: 52 x 26mm.
Mainboard B: 67 x 26mm.
Analog mode:
In case of use in analog mode we recommend the analogue adapter item 4-30021 (see among the recommended products below).
Compatibility:
The type ‘B’ main board can be used to replace ACME® boards equipped with third headlight and cabin light LEDs directly on the PCB and 4-wire running light wiring. On these models the running lights are installed on the chassis of the model.
There are two versions of the ACME boards with different types of 4-pole running light socket: one has a black 4-pole socket while the other has always a 4-pole socket but white. To allow the updating of both versions, two variants of the main board have been created:
Type 1 – for replacing the boards with black light connector
Type 2 – for replacing the boards with white light connector
For locos with white running light connector 6-pole (pcb code ACME-290-1200 and 290-1210) the Type ‘A’ kit (code 4-30132) must be used.
