This LED has a narrow light diffusion angle. It can therefore be used in situations where a “spot” or point light is required. Suitable, for example, when in a very small space there are two light sources of different colors which must not contaminate each other.
For correct operation it is essential to use a resistor of approximately 1000 ohm connected in series to one of the power supply poles.
The longer pin is the positive while the shorter one is the negative.
